Hungary-Serbia IPA HUSRB/1203/214/025

The project entitled „Novi Sad – Szeged cross-border cooperation in development of harmonized methods and production of common database for the analysis of designer drugs” started on 1st of March, 2013 by co-operation of Department of Organic Analytical Chemistry, Szeged Regional Laboratory with Republic of Serbia, Criminalistic Police Department, National Forensic Center, Regional Division in Novi Sad.

The main objective of this Project is to strengthen the capacity of the police forensic laboratory and criminalistic police officers for chemical analysis of drugs in the border areas of the two countries, in order to combat illicit drug trafficking and organized crime.

Opening Meeting of the project entitled "Novi Sad - Szeged cross-border cooperation in development of harmonized methods and production of common database for the analysis of designer drugs" was held in Novi Sad.

01 November 2013 - 28 February 2014

Analytical instruments (FT-IR, GC-MS, HPLC, rotary evaporation system) were delivered to Szeged Regional Drug Laboratory. After installation and testing of the instruments, trainings on theirs regular operations were also provided by factory trained service personnel. Experimental works with the procured analytical instruments started. The details of this period can be found here.

The Hungarian channel M1 presented a report (partly in Serbian, partly with Serbian subtitles) about the project's (HUSRB/1203) targets and prospective effects.

Analytical databases of new psychoactive substances, drugs and related compounds analysed in the scope of the Novi Sad - Szeged cross-border project (NCTCNSHIFSSZ12) are released.

Mass spectral database

Database can be downloaded in Agilent format library. Library folder is compressed into .ZIP file. Download the .ZIP file and extract L. folder into mass spectral library folder (default: C:\DATABASE). Library can be used in MSDChemStation and compatible software.

Infrared database

Database can be downloaded as a collection vendor-independent .JDX files. Files are compressed into .ZIP file. Download the .ZIP file and extract into your infrared data files folder. Files can be opened by any infrared software capable to open JCAMP DX file format.

Workshops on new psychoactive substances were organized by the Hungarian Institute for Forensic Sciences along with the National Forensic Center, Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia in the frame of Hungary – Serbia IPA Cross-border Co-operation Programme (HUSRB/1203) on 22nd of August in Novi Sad and on 28th of August in Szeged.
