FACIAL RECOGNITION ANALYSIS
The former facial recognition unit began its activity with 16 specialists in 2016. They came from different fields of sciences e.g., biology, anthropology, and criminology. The specialists of this unit continuously deepen their knowledge with courses on the latest outcomes of facial morphology and Information Technology.
There are two types of facial image recognitions: identification of an unknown person and confirmation of the ID in case of falsified documents.
